BY PLAN
Verona "Valerio Catullo" airport (90 Km)
It is the closest large airport to Trento. There are daily flight connections with Rome, Palermo, Catania, Cagliari, Bari, Naples as well as with other main European cities. It is serviced by major airlines such as Alitalia, Air Italy, Air France, British Airways and Meridiana Fly. An aerobus shuttle service to train station in Verona is available every day of the week leaving every twenty minutes from the airport. Several car-rental companies are also present in the airport. Trento can be reached in about 1 hour by car via the motorway (A4 to Verona and then A22 northwards) and 1hr 30min by train. Additional information can be found at airport website.
Venice “Marco Polo” airport (163 Km)
The airport offers over a thousand weekly flight connections to the main Italian and European cities. A city bus connects the airport to the train station in Mestre. Eight car rental companies are present within the airport. Trento can be reached in about 2 hours by car via the motorways (A4 to Verona and then A22 northwards) or the SS47 Valsugana national road from Cittadella and 2hr 30min by train. Bergamo "Orio al Serio" airport (180 Km)
This is the main Italian hub for low cost airlines. The airport is connected to Bergamo, Milano, Brescia and Monza with bus services and also hosts numerous car rental companies. Trento is reached in 1hr 50min by car via the A4 and A22 motorways and in 3hr 50min by train. Additional information can be found at airport website.

BY TRAIN
Arriving in Trentino by train is a convenient option as it avoids worrying about motorway traffic conditions or weather related issues. Trento is reached by Italian and European long-distance trains and its station is close to the town centre. Train tickets can be purchased at the railway station or online

Please, note that the last train from Verona station to Trento leaves at 10:50 pm.
BY CAR
If you are reaching Trento from the north, exit the A22 motorway at TRENTO NORD and follow the signs to go to the Trento city center.
If you are reaching Trento from the south, exit the A22 motorway at TRENTO SUD and follow the signs to go to the Trento city center.

TOWN TRAVEL
Bus: the town has an efficient urban travel system (yellow buses) run by Trentino Trasporti. At the Trentino Trasporti main bus station (Via Pozzo, Trento) you can pick up a free timetable “Guida ai trasporti del Trentino”.
